01 Our Pricing Model
Recast offers monthly subscription plans at three tiers β Starter (49,90 β¬/mo), Creator (69,90 β¬/mo), and Agency (89,90 β¬/mo). There is no free trial period.
In lieu of a free trial, we offer a day-access option at 2,85 β¬. This allows you to subscribe to any plan and use it for a single day before committing to a monthly cycle. Day-access is billed as a prorated amount from your chosen monthly plan and grants full access for 24 hours.
02 Eligibility for a Refund
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- You are a first-time subscriber and request a refund within 48 hours of your initial payment.
- You were charged due to a technical error or billing system fault on our side.
- You were charged after submitting a cancellation request that was not processed within the stated timeframe.
Important: Refunds apply to the first billing cycle only. Subsequent monthly renewals are non-refundable. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel your subscription before the next billing date.
03 Non-Refundable Situations
The following are explicitly excluded from our refund policy:
- Day-access charges (2,85 β¬) β once the access period has started, no refund is issued.
- Monthly renewal charges where no cancellation request was submitted before the billing date.
- Partial months β we do not prorate refunds for unused days in a billing cycle.
- Accounts suspended due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
- Upgrades or downgrades between plans mid-cycle.
04 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time in two ways:
- From your account dashboard under Settings β Billing β Cancel subscription.
- By using the Unsubscribe tool on our website (available in the header and footer).
Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the following month. Your account data is retained for 30 days after cancellation before permanent deletion.
05 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to billing@recast.io with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your Recast account.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- A brief reason for the request.
We aim to respond within 1β2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5β10 business days depending on your payment provider.
06 Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We strongly encourage you to contact us first β most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.
07 Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Recast following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
